There isn’t any one game in the casino that is better than another. But, there is one casino game that is most often played on the world that is loved by all – Craps. Craps is a game of chance, which means that the house has a higher chance of winning the game than the player, and Craps is played best at the last second, as a lot of gamblers know the game.
Craps is a complicated game to learn, but once learned, it can give you a lot of fun. If you’ve never played Craps, you are in for a lot of action and excitement. At the beginning, there are varieties of betting options. You can choose, in addition to the standard Pass/Don’t Pass and Come/Don’t Come bets, other variations of the Pass/Don’t Pass Bonus bets, Come/Don’t Come, Take Bonus, Lay Betting, Style of Play, substantial odds, and other options.
There are six common types of Craps bets, including Pass Line, Don’t Pass, Come, Don’t Come, Place, and Don’t Place bets. Although any grouping of numbers is possible except the “free odds” and “odds,” those bets are more often than not with the Foley numbers.
The Pass Line bet is a one-roll bet in which you bet a single, specific number. If the number appears, you win, unless the number 7 appears before the number. Your Pass Line bet is 11-to-1 against the number. That means for every $1 you bet, you stand to win $11. analyzing the odds, it’s possible to determine the house advantage of Craps is relatively low. Therefore, playing Craps is a great way to potentially win a lot of money!
The Pass Line and Come bets are variations of the Pass Line bet in that you can make a series of Pass Line bets, increasing your winnings if the numbers you bet win. To win the Pass Line bet, you must roll a total of seven (6-out) and eight (4-out) or a seven and a four (2-out). To win the Come bet, you must roll a total of seven and a four (2-out).
The Don’t Pass bet is the opposite of the Come bet. You make a Pass Line bet, which is 11-to-1 against the number. On the Don’t Pass bet, you roll a total of six (5-out) or seven and a ten (6-out) or a six and a seven (2-out).
Then, the unique Come/Don’t Come bet. This is a single roll bet in which you bet on the next roll either of the dice will total 7, 2, 12, 3, 11, or 2 1. The Pass Line and Come bets are combined in this single roll bet. This combines a Pass and Come bet into one roll bet. You win if the number rolled is in the correct category. If the number rolled is in the wrong category, you lose.
The Don’t Come bet is the exact opposite. You make a Don’t Pass bet, which is 11-to-1 against the number. On the Don’t Come bet, you roll a total of six (5-out) or seven and a 2 (2-out).
Again, the Pass and Don’t Pass bets are combined in this bet. Each time a number is rolled, if the number is in the correct category, you win if the number is in the same category, or, you lose if the number is in the wrong category. If a number is rolled that is outside the correct category, you lose.
Any number rolled in the first five rolls is called a point. The shooter makes a Come bet on the first roll to continue the Come bet, and a Don’t Come bet on the first roll to drop the dice to the bottom of the board and stop the Come bet.
The combination of the point and Come bet continues until the number 7 is rolled. At this moment, the shooter makes a single die roll to determine the final outcome. The outcome is the point. The winners then collect the dice and the game is over.
